A cup of coffee and Creativitea

Posted On 24 Jun 2021 In Other Category

Hello, I can’t believe we are past the longest day already!  I have wondered about doing this for a while now and with the arrival of better weather, more visitors and ferry cafe closures the time seems to be right.

We have set up a self service cuppa counter, open on Tuesdays and Sundays from 12 noon – 5pm, in our porch.

Visitors to Stronsay and to my Airy Fairy Studio are very welcome to top up travel mugs with a fresh cuppa from the selection offered, assorted biscuits are also available.  Visitors are also very welcome to use the seats outside if you need a break to enjoy your cuppa.   Cats and hens may come begging – don’t let them fool you, they are well fed lol

There is no charge but donations are welcome. Any funds will be shared between topping up supplies for the cuppa counter and the Stronsay defibrillator fund.  This is a cause very close to our hearts as we had to use the defibrillator stationed at the island school to save my husband Norman’s life in December.  The island community is now raising money to provide more of these machines for Stronsay.

Self service cuppa counter open Tuesdays and Sundays.
Enjoy a cuppa when you visit the studio.

Thankfully Norman has made an amazing recovery but there’s no doubt that without the defibrillator he wouldn’t be here.

We hope you will enjoy your visits to Stronsay x
